VARIETY SHOWS

YORUTAMORI
Aired on Sundays from 11:15 to 11:45 p.m.

6 month since the grand finale of Fuji Television’s long-running daytime variety show “Waratte Iitomo,” the show’s host Kazuyoshi Morita, better known as Tamori, comes back to Fuji TV’s regular program! Tamori had reigned as “The face of the lunchtime” as host of “Waratte Iitomo” which ran for as many as 32 years. This time, he returns as “Night (=”yoru” in Japanese) version Tamori.” The Japanese word “yoru” also means “to get together” or “to gather around,” hence the show’s title, “YORUTAMORI.”

The setting of the show takes place at a bar called White Rainbow. Every night a special guest -- may it be an actor, a writer, a creator, or a musician, -- comes over to visit Tamori and the beautiful bar hostess played by Rie Miyazawa. The show is full of humor and brings fun to the audience as a guest and the hosts engage in frank conversation in the brilliantly-unique world of Tamori
