Renowed director Nozomi Makino makes his first musical production debut with “The Goodbye Girl,” a warm, light-hearted romantic comedy musical based on Neil Simon's award-winning film!


Set in 1970’s, New York City, the story follows a bit unusual romance between Paula, a bitter, single mother who is unlucky in love, and Eliot, an obnoxious Chicago actor who shows on her doorstep with a lease to sublet her apartment. Reluctantly, Paula and Elliot agree to co-habit in the same apartment, along with Paula’s daughter, Lucy. At the beginning, they got off to a rough start, however despite their differences, the pair finds a way to live together and eventually their relationship evolve into something different…
