Thunderbirds Exhibition

Thunderbirds is an ever-popular British special effects television series that was broadcast from 1965 to 1966. Even after 50 years, the series continues to fascinate viewers of all ages throughout various countries. Thunderbirds depicts the future in the year 2065, when International Rescue Team set out to save those in danger, utilizing technically advanced equipment and machinery.

In this exhibition, the technology demonstrated in Tunderbirds is introduced alongside cutting edge technology of today. From the world’s first 3D video of Thunderbirds to Super Mechanic models, you’ll be able to observe and compare the technological world of Thunderbirds to Japan’s advanced modern advancements as a result of research and development.

Through the future dreams that Thunderbirds envisioned 50 years ago, you’ll be able to witness the forefront technology that Japan prides itself for to overcome generations and imagine a future where sustainability is made possible.

Exhibition Dates: Wednesday, July 10th to Monday, September 23rd.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Entry limited to 30min before closing)
