Misaki Sakurai (Mirei Kiritani) is a young pâtissier who dreams of opening her own shop someday. She's been so focused on her career that she hasn't been in a relationship for a long time and even forgotten how to kiss. Then, after a strange turn of events, she starts living with her first love from high school Chiaki (Shohei Miura), and his two younger brothers: the second brother Kanata (Kento Yamazaki), an over-confident, poker-faced genius chef (Shuhei Nomura), and a flirty youngest brother Toma. What will happen as she suddenly becomes roommates with extremely handsome boys? Will any of the boys help Misaki to remember what it’s like to “like” someone??
While out for grocery shopping, Misaki happens to see Chiaki and Kaede going inside a wedding hall. Shocked by what she just saw, Misaki spends some time on the beach. When she returns to the restaurant, she's asked by Chiaki and Kaede to make a wedding cake for a wedding reception that's coming up in two days…
Misaki's only wish was to be thought as "cute" by Chiaki. However, her little wish gets crushed completely at the wedding party. To make the matter even worse, Misaki catches Chiaki and Kaede kissing. Who cheered up broken-hearted Misaki was Kanata. He takes Misaki out to the sea on a cruiser for her efforts she's put in to the wedding party…
Misaki wants to ask Chiaki out to go to the fireworks festival with her, but she just can't seem to bring it up. One day, Nobuyuki and Mikako invite Misaki and the members of the restaurant Sea Sons to a barbeque party in the forest. Mikako tells Misaki that it would be the perfect occasion for her to tell Chiaki her feelings for him… Will Misaki be able to gather the courage to confess her feelings for Chiaki?
Misaki tells Kanata that she and Chiaki are going to the fireworks festival together. Then, Kanata says to Misaki something unexpected of him, yet she doesn't realize what he actually meant. The day before the fireworks festival, Misaki buys a set of yukata to wear to the festival. While on her way back to the restaurant, she happens to see Kaede giving money to a man. Kaede tells Misaki that she was just lending some money to a friend and that she’s leaving the town on the night of the festival…
At Sea Sons on the next morning after the fireworks festival, Misaki feels awkward with Kanata and cannot hide her stirred feelings. On the other hand, Kanata acts as his usual self: cynical and indifferent. Then, Chiaki comes in and tells Misaki that he got back together with Kaede. Even though Misaki had expected, she can’t hold her tears and rushes to the bathroom and washes her face so that no one would notice. A few days later, Chiaki brings up a proposal for Sea Sons to take part in a pop-up restaurant event and collaborate with an extremely popular restaurant…
Even though Chiaki tried to stop, Toma revealed the long-hidden truth that Kanata is not their real brother. Kanata is in complete shock and so is Misaki. Then, Toma brings Manami and says that she's in fact Kanata's little sister. The next morning, Misaki goes to Kanata's room to see how Kanata is, but he's nowhere to be found… Where did Kanata disappeared to? Will Misaki be able to save Kanata from despair?
Chiaki, Kanata and Toma were able to come to understand each other and things at Sea Sons have returned to just as they were before. As for Misaki, she now has new "tasks." One is to give a good presentation of the menu plan which will be served at the pop-up restaurant event, and the other is to decide what to say to Kanata about his feelings for Misaki…
Having successfully finished the presentation for the pop-up restaurant event, Misaki and Kanata decided to celebrate together. Misaki was going to give an answer to Kanata about his feelings for her there. She prepared a special cake for their celebration, and when she was about to leave the kitchen at "Sea Son's," Chiaki came in and suddenly hugged her. In complete shok, Misaki dropped the cake on the floor… That evening, when Misaki returns home, Kanata is waiting for her with all the dinner prepared. As Misaki tries to explain how she dropped the cake by accident, Chiaki also comes home. Not knowing what to do, Misaki tells them that she's not feeling well and hurries back to her room…
Misaki has finally told Kanata that he's the one she likes. However, on the contrary to what she had expected, Kanata says he doesn’t like her anymore. Next day at Sea Son's, Misaki cannot help get him out of her mind while working in the kitchen. That night, Misaki gets a chance to ask Kanata about what he said the night before, but he just says his feelings has just changed...
