All About My Siblings
Aired on Wednesdays from 10:00-10:54p.m.

“All About My Siblings” is based on the drama that was originally broadcast on Fuji TV in 1966 as “Wakamonotachi (The Siblings).” Back then, the story centered around 5 siblings of a poor family who lost their parents at a young age. Together, they stood strong against the social issues of their time, such as the scars left behind by war, poverty, and discrimination by educational background. The drama reached out to many viewers and generations, and its theme song “Wakamonotachi (The Siblings)” left such a strong impression on its listeners that they remember the song even today.

Appearing on TV screens 48 years later are the young adults of today, who face the challenges of modern day Japan. The story revolves not only around the siblings, but their lovers, friends and acquaintances as well. The drama will feature a number of scenes where the siblings are feverishly debating or even fighting about issues like educational background, employment, layoffs, social gaps, lonliness, friends, dreams, love, marriage, life and happiness. Although times have changed, the worries and problems that the young adults face remain the same even today.

Commemorating Fuji TV’s 55th anniversary, top class cast and staff have come together to bring to you a paramount story of adolescence and young adulthood.
